Project 10 Pan Round 3 Complete.

Well it took me a month to the day but Project 10 Pan Round 3 is complete -yay! I thought a nice way to send these items on their way would be to give a mini review so here we go....

Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser
This is my HG Cleanser. It comes with a pump, removes makeup and is as gentle a cleanser as I have ever used. It is sometimes a little hard to find but I always manage to pick it up at Priceline. I love it... and will be purchasing again.

Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Scrub
This was just something for the shower. It was ok but nothing special so I probably wont purchase this again.

SKINN by Dimitri James Replenishing Night Treatment
This moisturiser at night with my Lancome one in the day saved my skin. I love this stuff and it took me AGES to work my way through the jar. I highly recommend and I'll even take the hit on credibility given it's sold on TVSN. Not HG... but a damn good moisturiser in my opinion.

Covergirl Advanced Radiance Foundation (110 Classic Ivory) SPF10
I purchased this foundation when I realised I had flown to my cousin's wedding without a foundation. It was cheap and had a sunscreen (it was an outdoor wedding). On the plus side it is very emollient and comes with a pump. On the negative side, I found this became darker the more I used it.... and in the end I just wanted it to be over. I will not purchase this again.

ELF Hypershine Gloss in Fairy
Love this stuff. It comes in a brush applicator and lasts very well for a $1 product. This is a clear sparkly gloss and while inexpensive I do find they last without being overly tacky. If you are wondering where I managed to get my hands on ELF... look no further than Nonpariellboutique.

Dermalogica Barrier Repair
I did a review on a sensitive skin kit I got from Dermalogica here. I wont repurchase.

Nivea Lip Care in Pink Grapefruit
This was absolutely fab to put on my lips at night time right up until the base when it felt hard and was difficult to get lip balm from the stick. However for a couple of $$ this is a good lip balm and smells (and tastes) delicious.

Lancome Bi-Facil
OK this is HG eye makeup remover for me. It didn't matter what it was I put on my eyes this got it off easily and without irritating my eyes. The only reason  I haven't purchased more is that I am trying a cleansing oil. This product is worth every penny and can be found on strawberrynet if you are trying to save dollars.

NYX Round Lipstick in Pumpkin Pie (LSS630)
I love these products so much and they are a total bargain at around $2 a tube. They come in about a million different colours and finishes and I will be repurchasing this one... specifically in this colour. Pumpkin pie is a great neutral cream colour that I think is pretty universally flattering. A summer must for me.

MAC Tech Foundation (NW15)
Well this foundation and I have been on quite the journey together. At first I loved it... then I tried to use it. I didn't close the lid properly and lost around 30% of the product through evaporation. Then I found it was dry and cakey looking - yuk! So when P10P came around again  I thought I'd give it another go even though I was still not a fan. Then I watched a YT vid where they said you had to work quickly... and there was the light bulb moment. After that I loved the finish I was able to achieve and if it had sunscreen I would repurchase again.

All in all this was mostly a pleasant experience. As you can imagine I did a little shopping to reward myself for a job well done picking up the following items from MAC...

From left to right: Veluxe Pearl Eyeshadow in Moon's reflection (so pretty),
MAC Cleanse Off Oil and Studio sculpt concealer(NW15)

and then they released Venomous Villains... but that's a story for another day :)

  1. What's the MAC cleansing oil like? And when are you going to wear that blue eyeshadow? I want to see it on!
